ND Energy and NDnano invite you to a joint faculty luncheon featuring Gina Svarovsky and Alisa Gura from the Center for Broader Impacts (CBI) on Thursday, June 15, in 160 Mendoza College of Business (located in the SW hallway).

Abstract

Gina Svarovsky, faculty director of CBI, associate professor of the practice for the Center for STEM Education, and senior advisor to the director of the Institute for Educational Initiatives, and Alisa Gura, associate director of CBI, will provide an overview of the center, which was established  last year within Notre Dame Research. Specifically, they will discuss the mission and the ways that faculty can engage with CBI and a wide range of broader impacts partners across campus and within the local community. They will also discuss key considerations related to broader impacts for both pre- and post-award, as well as potential future directions and trends for broader impacts moving forward.
