NDnano and IDEA Center Grad Student-Postdoc Group Lunch & Seminar

Graduate students and postdocs! Did you know that you can help start a tech-based company with support from the Notre Dame IDEA Center's technology commercialization team?

Join us for a luncheon on April 11 from Noon to 1:00 pm to hear from Steve Asiala about the technology and research commercialization process at the IDEA Center, how grad students and postdocs can get involved in the translation of research, and the basics of intellectual property related to research on campus.

We’ll also hear from Roy Stillwell about NearWave, a tech-based start-up company he developed during his time as a Notre Dame graduate student. NearWave was accepted to Y-Combinator (W22) and is commercializing a device that helps physicians choose the best therapy for their cancer patients.

The favor of a reply by April 8 is requested for lunch planning purposes. Contact Heidi Deethardt at deethardt.1@nd.edu to receive the calendar invitation.

We hope you can join us!

The NDnano Graduate Student and Post-Doc group brings together students to share ideas, make connections, and develop an interdisciplinary approach to solving problems.
