Two students in Notre Dame's new interdisciplinary Materials Science & Engineering Doctoral Program will present their research at the next MS&E Student Meeting, scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 21:

• Lan Li, Bioengineering, will present “Methacrylate-modified gold nanoparticles enable non-invasive monitoring of photopolymerized hydrogel scaffolds”.
• Kirill Kniazev, Chemistry/Biochemistry, will present “Characterizing micro- and nano-plastics in complex environmental matrices using infrared photothermal heterodyne imaging and spectroscopy”
