Notre Dame-Purdue Symposium on Soft Matter & Polymers and Poster Session

The Notre Dame-Purdue Symposium on Soft Matter and Polymers began in 2014 at Notre Dame, and has evolved into an annual event between the two universities, with invited speakers and guests from neighboring institutions. Now in its fifth year, the event will take place on Saturday, October 6 in McCourtney Hall. In addition to faculty talks, there is a poster session for graduate students and postdocs, along with meals and networking opportunities. The event showcases the strong research cluster at Notre Dame in the area of soft materials and fosters collaboration with regional peers. With this year’s event in McCourtney Hall, Notre Dame will continue to promote its leadership in this research area.

Professor Nathan Gianneschi from Northwestern is this year's invited speaker. The full roster of faculty talks, along with registration information, is available here. Registration is open through September 26.
