A new technology called spectral [color] computed tomography (spectral CT) is not only on the horizon, but it is also on the University of Notre Dame’s campus, where researchers are giving the phrase “in living color” a new meaning.  

  Joel Boerckel, assistant professor of the department of aerospace and mechanical engineering, was awarded a Collaboration in Translational Research grant for a study entitled “Mechanical Regulation of Neovascularization.” 

Wolfgang Porod has been invited to participate in the Institute for Nanoelectronics Discovery and Exploration (INDEX) at the University of New York at Albany.

Zachary Schultz, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has accepted an invitation to join the Features Panel of the journal Analytical Chemistry. This appointment is for a three-year term beginning in 2016.
