All submissions are due to the Office of Technology Transfer by March 10

The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) is now accepting nominations for the 1st Source Bank Technology Commercialization competition. The winner will be revealed at the seventh annual commercialization event on April 18, 2017, and will receive a $20,000 cash award.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominees who they believe have achieved the transition of a research discovery into the marketplace, particularly via businesses operating in the Michiana area. Eligible candidates must be University of Notre Dame or Indiana University School of Medicine – South Bend faculty researchers.  Self-nominations will be accepted.

“Year after year, we receive high-quality nominations for this award,” said Patrick McMahon, the technology commercialization program director in the IDEA Center. “This is a great opportunity to highlight the work of our researchers.  We encourage those with someone in mind to submit a nominee.”

The recipient of the award will be chosen by a selection committee, which is comprised of business as well as University members. University employees can find the nomination submission form at http://ott.nd.edu/1st-source-faculty-commercialization-award/ and should submit it to FSCaward@nd.edu
