Notre Dame Research has announced the availability of funds through the 2019 Internal Grants Program. The deadline for applications is 5:00 pm Eastern on February 4.

There are three different grant programs currently accepting applications:

• The Equipment Restoration and Renewal Program assists in the restoration, replacement, and renewal of the facilities needed for faculty research, scholarship, and creative endeavor. Proposals that complement current or recent efforts to secure equipment funding from external sources are encouraged.
• The Kobayashi Travel Fund provides funding to initiate new research by subsidizing travel expenses incurred in the acquisition, analysis and development of data, and/or the consulting of primary materials, collections, or other research resources at off-campus sites. 
• The Library Acquisitions Grant Program funds library acquisitions (print, digital, electronic, or other formats) in support of research, scholarship, and creative endeavor. It is not meant to replace the normal means of enhancing the library’s collections, but to provide a means of responding to unique opportunities or challenges.
