NDnano hosts short course on vacuum technology and physical vapor deposition
On March 10 and 11, NDnano hosted a short course presented by Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC). Lesker engineers JR Gaines and Rob Belan presented morning and afternoon sessions on basic vacuum technology and physical vapor deposition.
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to have shared our 61 years of technical knowledge in general vacuum and physical vapor deposition in the short course at Notre Dame,” said Matt Belz, regional sales manager. “This series allowed our experts to interact with the attendees and have in-depth conversations regarding the basics of vacuum and specific questions the attendees had regarding their own experience with vacuum and PVD. It also helps to continue building a strong working relationship between KJLC and Notre Dame.”
More than 60 people from Notre Dame, Ivy Tech Community College, and local industry attended the free event.
