Announcing the University of Notre Dame's annual competition to recognize outstanding undergraduates in nanoscience and nanoengineering research!

Who is eligible?

Students graduating in 2017-2019 who are actively engaged in undergraduate nano-related research at their respective universities.

How do I apply?

By August 22, email your resumé (include GPA), a description of your research project (one-page max, including title and references), and a PowerPoint file recapping your project and research findings, to ndnano@nd.edu. By the same date, please ask your faculty research adviser to email a recommendation letter to ndnano@nd.edu. Please use this template for your project description and save all files as PDFs):

Finalists will be selected by September 6 and invited to present their findings at a one-day event on Tuesday, October 18 at Notre Dame. 

Grand Prizes!

$6,000 in prizes will be awarded after the fall poster session:

  • First Place $3,000
  • Second Place $2,000
  • Third Place $1,000
